Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 0730 to 1630 (After hours as needed)

Eielson does not have regular scheduled flights. Destinations that originate from or transit Eielson are too numerous to predict. Summertime travel for retirees into and out of Eielson AFB is extremely limited due to summertime dependent travel and Red Flag Alaska exercises. Travel on C-12 aircraft from Oct. 1 to March 31 requires full cold weather gear for military personnel and equivalent gear for dependents and civilians/retirees

No base shuttle services are available on Eielson AFB. Commercially operated taxi or shuttle services are the only available options. Taxi service to/from Fairbanks is around $70 to $80. Also very few rental car agencies will travel to Eielson to pick up customers.
